What You Should Know

We encourage you to test connectivity and file delivery in the J.P. Morgan Client Acceptance Test (CAT) environment. If you encounter an error when testing, please examine the verbose logs from your application to identify the issue.

To get started, follow the steps below using your preferred method of connection.

  1. Navigate to the following URL: https://ftscat.mfts.jpmchase.com.
  2. Log in using your username and password. If you don't know your username and password, contact the J.P. Morgan Data Center Migration team at jpmc.datacenter.migrations@jpmchase.com.

  1. Perform an SFTP connection to ftscat.mfts.jpmchase.com on port number 22.
  2. If using password-based authentication, log in using your user ID and password.
  3. If using key-based authentication, use your private version of the public key that is loaded in the J.P. Morgan test environment.
  4. If you need assistance with passwords, or with loading the keys, please contact the J.P. Morgan Data Center Migration team at jpmc.datacenter.migrations@jpmchase.com

  1. Perform an FTPS connection to ftscat.mfts.jpmchase.com on port number 21.
  2. For inbound FTPS connections to our server, the lower level data port range is from 9000-9300. All of our servers support explicit SSL only.
  3. Log in using your MFTS username and password. If you don't know your username and password, contact the J.P. Morgan Data Center Migration team at jpmc.datacenter.migrations@jpmchase.com.

  1. Perform an AS2 connection to the J.P. Morgan test server using the AS2 URL: https://ftscat.mfts.jpmchase.com:10443.
  2. The port number for incoming AS2 connections is 10443.
  3. Please be sure to use the correct certificates for encrypting and signing files. If you do not have the J.P. Morgan test certificates for encryption and SSL connection, please contact the J.P. Morgan Data Center Migration team at jpmc.datacenter.migrations@jpmchase.com.
  4. Confirm receipt of the Message Disposition Notification (MDN) after you have sent files to the J.P. Morgan server.

  1. Perform a Connect:Direct connection to the J.P. Morgan test node using the ftscatndm.mfts.jpmchase.net DNS on port 1364. (this can be done with a simple connectivity test or a file upload to /ndm, /NDM or /app/home/restricted/cmsftp/cd_pickup directories).
  2. Please be sure to use the correct certificates for the NDM connection.
