New Fully Qualified Domain Names and IP Addresses

This event affects both incoming and outgoing file transmissions and will result in new Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDN) and IP address changes for all J.P. Morgan Managed File Transfer servers.
 
Once you’ve made the below changes, you’ll want to ensure you test your connection and ability to transmit files. Testing instructions are available here.

Connections Through Public Networks

If you’re connecting to J.P. Morgan Managed File Transfer environments through a public network, you will need to make the below changes to your route configuration.

If J.P. Morgan Managed File Transfer is connecting to you to transmit or receive files:

  • Confirm your firewalls and access lists are still opened to the appropriate IP ranges. If these ranges are not open, please work with your administrator to make the necessary changes to any applications which use an IP access list in their configuration to allow the IPs to connect.
    • *159.53.0.0/16 which is equivalent to 159.53.0.0 – 159.53.255.255
    • *170.148.0.0/16 which is equivalent to 170.148.0.0 – 170.148.255.255
    • *146.143.0.0/16 which is equivalent to 146.143.0.0 – 146.143.255.255

If you are connecting to J.P. Morgan to transmit or receive files, complete the following:

  • Open your firewalls and access lists for the following IP range:
    • 198.36.0.0/22
  • Update your route configuration to point to the new URL(s) listed below.

Business Partner Connections and Connections Through VPN

If you're connecting to J.P. Morgan Managed File Transfer environments through VPN or a Business Partner Connection, you will need to update your route configuration.
