Chenkai Weng

Northwestern University, Advisor: Xiao Wang

Chenkai Weng is a PhD candidate at Northwestern University, advised by Professor Xiao Wang.

His research interests are in applied cryptography, focusing on secure multi-party computation (MPC) and zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP). In particular, his prior work covers the designs, analyses, and implementation of MPC (e.g., garbled circuits, oblivious transfer, homomorphic encryption, and secret sharing-based protocols) and ZKP protocols (VOLE-based ZK and non-interactive ZK). He also builds secure systems by applying cryptography-based privacy-enhancing techniques to various fields, including databases, networking, formal verification, machine learning, health care, and Web3-based systems.

Chenkai received his BSc from Xidian University in 2019.
