Users who are entitled to the Host-to-Host functions in Access can:
- View the status of file transmissions.
- Monitor Host-to-Host security keys to track upcoming expirations.
- Download bank keys directly from Access.
- Renew your expiring Host-to-Host security keys online and Activate them on demand (enrollment required).
These functions may be entitled to both Treasury and Technical teams. They are independent of other Access entitlements, so access to bank account data is not required.

File Status Visibility
Entitled users may see the status of Host-to-Host files at-a-glance on the Access dashboard, allowing early intervention if files are missing or have failed. Additional details are available with a single click.
File Transmissions Details
Host-to-Host files are listed by status. For certain payment, collection and issuance files, File Content Summary is available to confirm totals without having to call the Bank.
File Failure Notifications
Users who are entitled to File Status are automatically configured to receive notifications in Access when files fail in Host-to-Host. Notification options may be configured, as needed.

Key Status
The current status of Host-to-Host security keys is displayed on the Access dashboard for entitled users, with an indication of time to expiration. With one click, Key Administrators may view and manage all Host-to-Host client keys and J.P. Morgan bank keys.
Online Key Renewal (enrollment required)
When Host-to-Host keys are nearing expiration, entitled Key Administrators may renew and activate client keys on-demand.
- An entitled Key Administrator selects the expiring key and uploads a replacement key.
- The uploaded key file can be signed with PGP and/or authenticated via password and token.
- When the new key is ready to be used for Host-to-Host file transmissions, a second entitled Key Administrator activates the key via password and token authentication, and the key becomes active in Host-to-Host.
- No email exchange or other signature validation is necessary.

Key Expiry Notifications
Users who are entitled to Key Status and Key Renewal functions are automatically configured to receive key expiry notifications in Access. Notification options may be configured, as needed.
