What we do
Sustainable Solutions is a specialist group of investment bankers who provide advice and transaction support to advance sustainability solutions for our clients. The team provides clients with access to sustainability-focused capital across equity, debt and private markets. In Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Sustainable Solutions also coordinates J.P. Morgan’s investment banking coverage of clients in emerging green economy sectors. The group works with other investment banking teams across the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) to identify and execute on ESG-related advisory and product opportunities.
Sustainable Solutions is a key business within J.P. Morgan's Corporate Advisory & Sustainable Solutions (CASS). CASS is committed to helping clients accelerate and amplify their impact in the global economy, while navigating the shifting industrial policy and accelerating the trend towards sustainability and decarbonization. CASS offers clients holistic advice, capital markets solutions and targeted capital deployment, partnering with coverage and product teams across the Commercial & Investment Bank's businesses and functions, and with global Corporate Sustainability.

Supporting clients in understanding the ESG considerations of critical strategic and/or M&A activities, and advising them on preparation to deliver on strategic goals to futureproof their business model
Equity Capital Markets support
Leading the ESG and corporate governance workstreams in IPO or Equity Private Placement (EPP) transactions to ensure a well-articulated ESG narrative
Disclosure guidance
Advising clients on how to meet investor expectations on ESG disclosure, materiality assessments and compliance with global frameworks
ESG rating support
Assisting clients in understanding and addressing their ESG ratings and associated implications
GHG emissions targeting
Providing guidance to clients on setting and meeting targets for the reduction of carbon and other greenhouse gas emissions (including advice on the use of carbon offsets)
Stakeholder management
Advising clients on shareholder engagement relating to ESG issues, and on complex capital markets’ transactions that require wider stakeholder engagement and support
