Overview
J.P. Morgan Asset Management has enabled the WeCom service. WeCom is a communication and office automation tool for enterprises developed by the Tencent WeChat team. Through this platform, you can discuss administrative matters and certain businesses (including marketing and research-related content) with J.P. Morgan Asset Management anytime and anywhere.
Important terms for using WeCom
If you are the representative of J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s client or fund account owner, before using WeCom to communicate and interact with us on any matters relating to the client/account, please ensure you have obtained all the required authorization from the client/account.
Please note that all interactions and communications between you and any J.P. Morgan Asset Management employees or representatives on WeCom will be subject to J.P. Morgan Asset Management's continuous monitoring and surveillance.
JPMorgan Asset Management, its affiliates and third parties acting on their behalf will collect, store and monitor all the information that you and J.P. Morgan Asset Management employees or representatives send and receive on WeCom to the extent permissible by applicable laws.
If you send any message to J.P. Morgan Asset Management employees or representatives on WeCom, you are deemed to agree to the above collection, storage and monitoring by JPMorgan Asset Management. JPMorgan Asset Management will collect, store and process personal data in accordance with its privacy policy.
WeCom is an instant communication platform which is subject to monitoring, please therefore exercise caution before sending any non-public information on WeCom.
Please read the "J.P. Morgan Asset Management WeCom Terms of Use" and "J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Privacy Policy" in order to install the application, set up your account and connect with your dedicated J.P. Morgan Asset Management contact.
If you have changed your job position, joined a new company, or for any other reasons need to stop using the communication services with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, please be sure to notify JPMorgan Asset Management immediately.
The administrator of all chat groups must be an employee or representative of J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Please do not send any pictures or attachments. Please note that J.P. Morgan Asset Management employees or representatives will not send pictures or attachments, or make voice calls or video calls via WeCom. Please use other existing means of communication, such as email or telephone, to conduct such activities.
WeCom limits the use of emojis or icons. Although WeCom supports the use of emojis or icons, no transmission of emojis or icons will be considered as confirmation or consent.
WeChat accounts and WeCom do not support the function of forwarding single or multiple messages, please therefore do not forward any messages on WeChat or WeCom to anyone, including to any representative of J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
If you do not agree to the "J.P. Morgan Asset Management Enterprise WeCom Terms of Use", or if you do not agree to the messages being archived/chats being monitored, or if you intend not to communicate through WeCom, you can enter the chat interface with the J.P. Morgan Asset Management employee or representative, click "View Service" button at the top of the chat interface, and then click "Disagree to store any information" on the bottom of the screen. Please note that this means that you will no longer be able to communicate with J.P. Morgan Asset Management employee or representative through WeCom. It however does not remove any previous message records from J.P. Morgan’s system.
