Taylor Brown:

So the integration process is the biggest point of my job. My dad works at JPMorgan Chase as well.

On screen:

A family photo shows Taylor as a little girl, with her father.

Taylor Brown:

He's my mentor. Even when I was young, software development seemed to be kind of interesting. I never thought that I would end up where he was at.

On screen:

Another photo shows Taylor as an adult, with her father. Taylor stands in the woods, pressing her palms together - her arms raised above her head.

Taylor Brown:

Yoga is peace. Yoga is growth. And it gives me that stick-to-itness and perseverance to be able to move forward in every aspect of my life.

On screen:

She stands on a wooden bridge looking out at a still river.

Taylor Brown:

What centers me is quality time with myself and with my family. My son-- I would love for him to follow in our footsteps. His brain is huge. I'm just excited to see what he's going to do.

On screen:

Taylor, her husband, and young son spend time together by a riverbank: The boy fills out a printed math work sheet and then studies little fish in the water.

Taylor Brown:

I learned Python, and it just let me know that I could do anything. And I look down at it, and I'm like, OK, OK, .NET? I can learn that. C++? OK, yeah, we can do that.

On screen:

Taylor smiles, sitting in a sunny clearing in the woods.

Taylor Brown:

JPMorgan Chase is so focused on your knowledge and input. You feel known.

On screen:

The man, Nick, speaks, as a video clip shows him adjusting the collar of his military dress uniform.

Nick Adam:

I never actually thought I'd be at a bank.

On screen:

He unsheathes his ceremonial sword, the light of its gleaming metal reflecting on his face.

Nick Adam:

Best things happen when you don't expect them.

On screen:

Gold medals adorn his uniform and service cap.

Nick Adam:

I'm at my best when the pressure's highest, which is why I'm still a drilling reservist.

Text on screen:

Nick, Managing Director, Cybersecurity, Drilling Reservist.

Nick Adam:

My name is Nick Adam. I work at JPMorgan Chase doing cybersecurity.

On screen:

A montage shows Nick on a long-distance hike through a stony landscape.

Nick Adam:

We operate in over 60 countries as a bank. We have to be available and up all the time. Our payment systems have to function. The work's never done.

On screen:

Nick runs on a dirt road stretching to the horizon. He wears shorts, a T-shirt, and sneakers.

Nick Adam:

But that's also why I think military folks do so well in this environment. We are trained to be calm in the chaos.

On screen:

Nick wears camouflage fatigues and a backpack as he traverses a stark, rocky landscape.

Nick Adam:

I've always wanted to be around the smartest people aligned to the most critical things.

On screen:

Nick runs across a wooden bridge, stretching over a still, muddy stream.

Nick Adam:

We invest in talent because we can't get it wrong. Work-life balance is feeding the right culture in the organization. I love running. It's not all work all the time, and you got to take the time for yourself.

On screen:

Hiking, Nick climbs up a steep rocky hill and walks carefully on a thin path alongside a cliff.

Nick Adam:

That differentiates JPMorgan Chase from a lot of our competitors and certainly what I see, among other tech companies.

On screen:

Nick looks out at a secluded lake surrounded by trees.

Nick Adam:

Family for me is kind of the center of everything I do.

On screen:

Nick is in his outdoor pool, enjoying time with his family.

Nick Adam:

I'm helping to protect them and give them hopefully a better world than the one I grew up in.

On screen:

On the front porch of his large brick home, Nick sits with his wife and children (an infant, three little boys and a girl).

Nick Adam:

We're always evaluating new technology, but then the adversary does something you don't expect and you have to react to that.

On screen:

Nick holds a small circular lapel pin reading: Cyber Security Technology Controls - JPMorgan Chase and Co.

Nick Adam:

I'm a bit uncomfortable when it's calm. The reality is if we don't find it, someone else will.

On screen:

In the darkness of night, Nick continues his hike through the wilderness. He sees lightning and hears thunder in the distance…

Valanka Fernandes:

In the tech industry, every piece is critical. It's a lot of coordination and a lot of work needed in order to build something.

On screen:

She walks past brick apartment buildings.

Valanka Fernandes:

Security is very critical for us. Nothing else matters. We ensure that the person who is logging in is the Chase customer.

On screen:

Valanka gets into a yellow New York taxi cab.

Valanka Fernandes:

It should be a simple experience, too. It should not be a complicated with multiple screens. I hope that we can deliver more features, which customers can relate to, which makes their life easier.

On screen:

A time-lapse video clip shows people and traffic speeding past Valanka. She crosses a wide avenue in Lower Manhattan.

Valanka Fernandes:

The technology is changing, the business is changing, the customer itself is changing. They are more tech savvy now.

On screen:

On Madison Avenue, Valanka walks past a Chase branch.

Valanka Fernandes:

You are part of someone's life, ensuring that people are happy and using it and are benefiting. It starts as a tiny idea to the part where you actually build everything, roll out everything. And then it's finally out there. And I have contributed my small bit in that journey. Makes me happy.

On screen:

On a rooftop terrace, Valnka looks out at a spectacular view of New York City's iconic skyline.
