Dr. Shaltiel Eloul joined the Global Technology Applied Research team as Head of Blockchain & Privacy.

Shaltiel’s team sets to solve challenges in distributed technology for ledger and data in the modern financial market. The team combines cross-disciplinarity research to build prototypes combining tools from blockchain cryptography, numerical and graph models, and machine learning.

Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Shaltiel had a Post position at Cambridge University in the Theoretical Chemistry department. Shaltiel holds a PhD from Oxford University in Computational Physical-Chemistry and has many years of industrial experience that covers disciplines such as soft-matter and electrochemistry, machine learning and numerical modelling, blockchain, and quant finance.
