When initiating free-form Wires or Book Transfer payments, you will notice updated field labels in the Routing/Reference Information section. These changes apply to all parties where address information may be entered, including Beneficiary, Beneficiary Bank, Intermediary Bank, and By Order Of.
Currently, your addresses are captured in an unstructured format.
To comply with hybrid address standards, reformat your address details according to the updated labels.
When initiating US Drawdowns, you will see the similar label changes to those made on Wires and Books.
Currently, addresses are captured in an unstructured format.
To comply with hybrid address standards, reformat your address details according to the updated labels.
When manually initiating SEPA Credit Transfers (Figure 1) or SEPA Direct Debits (Figure 2), any address information provided will require at least the town name/city and country fields. Our application currently mandates the ‘country’ field if any address component is supplied for SEPA, and this same requirement will be extended to the town/city field once the regulation is enforced

For SEPA Direct Debits (Figure 2), if the debtor account is located in a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA), providing the debtor’s town name/city and country is mandatory. SEPA transactions within the EEA do not require address information, although we recommend including it for completeness.
The countries and territories outside the EEA are currently: United Kingdom (GB), Switzerland (CH), Monaco (MC), San Marino (SM), Andorra (AD), Vatican City (VA), Albania (AL), Montenegro (ME), North Macedonia (MK), Moldova (MD), Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon (PM), Guernsey (GG), Jersey (JE), Isle of Man (IM).
