Enhanced templates

What to expect

All Non-U.S. Enhanced Templates (i.e. Bank Verified Lines) within J.P. Morgan Access will be converted to Standard Templates. Here’s what’s changing:

  • You will still be able to import payments using the existing template names and enhanced template IDs/line numbers. No changes to the existing file import format is required.
  • You will need entitlements to Standard Templates in order to view and modify the converted templates. Users with entitlements only to Enhanced Templates will be granted Standard Templates entitlement as part of the migration.
  • You will no longer be able to create or modify enhanced templates.

 

User recommendations

Please note, once the mandate takes effect, any Active template missing required address information will be moved to ‘On Hold’ status. On Hold templates cannot be used for payments until they are updated and reactivated. You have time to make these updates before the requirements go into effect. Updating your templates in advance will help you avoid any interruptions in payment processing. Click here to see how to update Standard Templates.
