It's no secret California has a major affordable housing crisis—some projects underwritten by the state still can't get funding due to the lack of public resources.

Cécile Chalifour, West Regional Manager, Community Development Banking, spoke to Affordable Housing Finance about how the state and stakeholders across the industry used American Rescue Plan funds to create an accelerator program for those projects.
