Building on the success of Acquired LIVE at San Francisco’s Chase Center in September 2024, J.P. Morgan brought Acquired LIVE, the second annual live show of leading business and technology podcast Acquired, to the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York City on July 15. Hosted by Ben Gilbert and David Rosenthal, the show featured an onstage interview with JPMorganChase CEO Jamie Dimon.

The sold-out show kicked off with their conversation covering Dimon’s journey  and insights into building the world’s most significant bank, explaining the “fortress” principle, discussing the importance of his family, his love of country and his purpose – the firm and how it enables him to impact so many areas.

The event’s second act included an interview featuring Meredith Kopit Levien, CEO of The New York Times Company, and then media mogul Barry Diller.

"The Acquired podcast showcases the stories of innovative leading companies, providing intriguing insights into their inner workings. One of the benefits for us at J.P. Morgan Payments is that these podcasts help us understand what drives successful companies, enabling us to serve them more effectively," said Max Neukirchen, Global Co-Head, J.P. Morgan Payments.

Acquired tells the stories and strategies of great companies and has been ranked the #1 Technology podcast series in the U.S. on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. The show reaches nearly 1 million listeners per month, and episodes are better described as “conversational audiobooks” rather than a podcast. The Wall Street Journal writes, “By turning case studies into cinematic spectacles, they have built the business world’s favorite podcast.”
