Mike Blandina, Global Head of Payments Technology at JPMorgan Chase, led a session on payment technology at MIT Technology Review’s EmTech Next. The session focused on trends that are transforming business and creating a seamless customer experience. He discussed how harnessing the power of payments technology at JPMorgan Chase is essential to running one of the world’s largest payment business at unparalleled scale—moving over $10 trillion a day.
“Clients are looking for a multitude of payments methods and a quick, seamless and cost-effective payments experience,” Blandina said. “Fueled by technology, JPMorgan Chase aspires to occupy a unique place in the industry—the scale of a bank with the innovation of a fintech,” he added.
JPMorgan Chase was a lead financial sponsor of MIT Technology Review’s EmTech Next, an annual event focused on digital transformation. “EmTech Next uncovers the opportunities exposed by cutting-edge technologies that are reshaping the way business innovates, operates and grows,” said MIT Technology Review. The virtual conference highlighted generative AI, web3, metaverses and leadership strategies for the digital workforce. It also covered emerging technologies transforming the customer experience.
