J.P. Morgan Payments Global Co-Head Umar Farooq was recognized by the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) with a “2025 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award” on Sept. 10.
Established in 2001, the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Awards has remained the premier forum to highlight the achievements of Asian American business professionals and entrepreneurs across the U.S. The award recipients represent a microcosm of the best of Asian American entrepreneurs, professionals and corporate executives who are engaged in a wide range of business interests, and who are playing leading roles to drive the U.S. economy.
The AABDC is a New York-based nonprofit dedicated to elevating and amplifying the contributions of Asian American businesses and professionals to the U.S. economy by promoting greater recognition of Asian American corporate and entrepreneurial leadership; fostering allyship and productive partnerships across diverse communities; and advocating for economic equity and access for Asian American and other minority-owned small businesses.
