J.P. Morgan Named Bank of the Year
For the second year in a row, J.P. Morgan was named Bank of the Year by International Financing Review (IFR).
The magazine’s top award recognizes the firm’s dominance in trading revenues, capital market deals and global coverage along with J.P. Morgan’s continued progress in retail banking operations, custody and fund services and technology initiatives.
“It’s particularly pleasing that we’re making progress at a time when competition is harder than ever,” said Daniel Pinto, CEO of J.P. Morgan’s Corporate and Investment Bank. “This is not an abnormal time like the financial crisis and yet we’re still building the franchise strongly.”
