Matthew Tartaglia

Matt Tartaglia is the Global Head of Director Advisory Services at JPMorgan, serving as a trusted resource for board directors navigating the full range of challenges that come with the role—governance, fiduciary responsibility, board composition, and the increasing demands placed on directors by shareholders, regulators, and management alike.

Matt brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate governance and board leadership. Before joining J.P. Morgan Chase, he served in senior management roles for both World 50 and G100 Network- two of the most exclusive peer communities for sitting CEOs and board directors in the world.  In those roles, he worked alongside thousands of directors and executives at Global 2000 companies, developing a rare ground-level understanding of what boards need, what directors value, and how governance practices are evolving.

His work has fostered a deep appreciation for the challenges and responsibilities faced by boards and their members.

He also led growth at business intelligence firm L2 through its acquisition by Gartner and spent more than a decade at Deloitte as Senior Managing Director in the financial services practice.

Matt spent 8 years serving as a Director and Audit Chair for Achievement First Brooklyn.
