Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion

We are committed to attracting, retaining and developing strong, diverse talent at all levels of the firm ― this includes a commitment to gender diversity. Women represent approximately 50% of our current global workforce and 50% of our firm's Operating Committee.

While we have made progress in increasing women’s representation at all levels, there’s still more work to do. Working with our managers and leaders, we will continue to engage, develop and empower women, and expand opportunities for growth.
 

France Professional Equality Index for Men and Women

In accordance with French Law number 2019-15 of 8 January 2019, aimed at eliminating the pay gap between women and men, J.P. Morgan is required to publish its professional equality index for men and women by 1 March 2020.

The professional equality index for men and women is measured using four indicators set by the regulation:

  • Pay gap between male and female average remuneration
  • Difference in rate of pay increases between women and men
  • Percentage of employees who returned from maternity leave and benefited from an increase upon return
  • Number of employees of the underrepresented sex among the 10 employees who received the highest remuneration

Our score of 82 out of 100 points* reflects our continuing commitment to increase women’s representation at all levels. In partnership with each of our lines of business, we will continue to drive change and focus on our diversity strategy.
 

Advancing Women is a Key Priority

As a major employer across the globe, JPMorgan Chase is committed to strengthening our diverse and inclusive culture and providing easily accessible resources to employees at all levels. Throughout 2018 and 2019, we have had programmes at the Paris, regional and global level designed to assist our employees in their professional and personal development. Key highlights include:

  • The Paris launch of Women on the Move Interactive Network in March 2018, with the aim of engaging employees in Paris in the dialogue linked to promoting, retaining and empowering women. Key achievements in the last year have included the launch of Men As Allies, which brings together executive allies to discuss how we can advance, retain and develop women at the firm; celebrations for Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day; Wellness events and the launch of the 2020 Mentoring programme.
  • The roll-out of global initiatives focused on promoting a culture of respect and inclusion, such as our “Culture of Respect” campaign which emphasized the importance of speaking up.
  • Continued training focused on Board Readiness and specific skills sessions for female employees.
  • The participation of managers and leaders in unconscious bias and inclusion training.
  • The launch of anti-harassment training for all employees in support of maintaining a harassment free workplace.

Firm management has long focused on the empowerment and advancement of women employees, and JPMorgan Chase is taking a disciplined and regionally tailored approach to help us make further progress.

Notre engagement en faveur de la diversité et de l'inclusion

Nous nous sommes engagés à attirer, retenir et développer des talents forts et diversifiés à tous les niveaux de l'entreprise - ce qui inclut un engagement en faveur de la diversité des sexes. Index français d'égalité professionnelle entre les femmes et les hommes

Conformément au Décret n° 2019-15 du 8 janvier 2019, visant à supprimer tout écart de rémunération entre les femmes et les hommes, J.P. Morgan est tenu de publier son indice d'égalité professionnelle entre les hommes et les femmes avant le 1er mars 2020.

L'index d'égalité professionnelle entre les femmes et les hommes est mesuré à l'aide de quatre indicateurs fixés par la réglementation :

  • L'écart de rémunération entre la rémunération moyenne des hommes et des femmes;
  • La différence de taux d'augmentation des salaires entre les femmes et les hommes;
  • Le pourcentage de salariées qui sont revenues de leur congé de maternité et ont bénéficié d'une augmentation à leur retour;
  • Le nombre de salariés du sexe sous-représenté parmi les 10 salariés ayant reçu la rémunération la plus élevée.

Notre score de 82 sur 100 points* reflète notre engagement continu à accroître la représentation des femmes à tous niveaux. En partenariat avec chacun de nos secteurs d'activité, nous continuerons à conduire le changement et à nous concentrer sur notre stratégie de diversité.
 

La promotion des femmes est une priorité essentielle

En tant qu'employeur majeur au niveau mondial, JPMorgan Chase s'engage à renforcer sa culture de la diversité et de l’inclusion et à fournir des ressources facilement accessibles aux employés à tous les niveaux. En 2018 et 2019, nous avons mis en place des programmes à Paris, ainsi qu’au niveau régional et mondial, conçus pour accompagner nos employés dans leur développement professionnel et personnel. Les principaux points forts de ces programmes sont :

  • Le lancement à Paris du réseau interactif "Women on the Move" en mars 2018, dans le but de faire participer les employés de Paris au dialogue lié à la promotion, la fidélisation et la responsabilisation des femmes.   • Le déploiement d’initiatives globales axées sur la promotion d'une culture de respect et d'inclusion, comme notre campagne "Culture of Respect" qui a mis l'accent sur l'importance de la prise de parole;
  • Les formations continues pour préparer aux conseils d'administration ainsi que des sessions de compétences spécifiques dédiées aux employées;
  • La participation des managers et des dirigeants à des formations sur les préjugés inconscients et l'inclusion;
  • Le lancement d'un programme de formation sur la lutte contre le harcèlement pour tous les employés afin de contribuer au maintien d'un environnement de travail exempt de harcèlement.

La direction de l’entreprise se concentre depuis longtemps sur la prise de responsabilités et la promotion des femmes employées au sein du Groupe, et JPMorgan Chase adopte une approche encadrée et adaptée à chaque région afin de progresser davantage dans cette voie.
