Ezra Maddox
Executive Director
Ezra Maddox is an Executive Director and Corporate Treasury Consultant for Commercial Banking. Here, he plays a critical role in identifying and driving strategic dialogue to solve key issues facing corporate treasury organizations.
Ezra engages directly with clients to provide market insights and best practices on topics such as merger integration, spinoffs and divestitures, treasury centralization, and market-leading practices and trends. He also conducts on-site deep-dive process reviews, issue analysis and solution design for clients’ complex problems.
Since joining the firm in 2008 as an Analyst through the firm’s corporate-development program, Ezra has held various senior positions in treasury groups for both the Corporate & Investment Bank and Commercial Banking.
Ezra is also a member of J.P. Morgan’s college recruitment team for full-time and summer analyst programs and the J.P. Morgan Black Leadership Forum. As a 2017 volunteer in the firm’s Service Corps program, he spent three weeks working with Chicago nonprofits to help solve their organizational challenges and accelerate their internal capacity.
Ezra holds a bachelor’s degree in general science from Morehouse College and a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified. In addition, he has published thought leadership pieces and spoken at a wide range of industry forums. Ezra is based in Atlanta.
