New York, February 21, 2007 - JPMorgan Retirement Plan Services today announced three new strategic relationship managers hires in the defined contribution team: Scott Curtiss, Renee Brewer and Michael Shamon.
Curtiss joins the firm from Watson Wyatt Worldwide where he had been leader of defined contribution plan consulting services in the Minneapolis office since 2002. Brewer comes to the firm from Principal Financial Group, where she was a regional director for the firm’s institutional market segment for two years. Prior to that, she was with Mercer Human Resources Consulting for 12 years. Shamon had spent ten years at Putnam Investments/Mercer HR Services in the role of principal relationship manager in institutional management services. He previously held roles as a senior conversion specialist and team lead in plan sponsor services
Dan O’Toole, Chief Operating Officer, Institutional Market, JPMorgan Retirement Plan Services, said: “The relationship manager role is a real differentiator in the industry, which is why we strive so hard to find the best people for the client service team here at JPMorgan. We are in an era of change – not least with the introduction of the Pension Protection Act in 2006 and clients want to understand the new playing field, the choices they have in terms of plan design, the range of innovative products available to them and also have the best processes and execution around all of this. We can deliver that total solution and are building our team so we can go out there and talk to our clients more broadly and quickly about their plans.”
