Sitara Sundar
Head of Alternative Investment Strategy, J.P. Morgan Private Bank
Sitara Sundar is the Head of Alternative Investment Strategy at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. In this role, she leads the development of the view across private markets and drives thought leadership. She also chairs the Investment Quarterly Roundtable for J.P. Morgan’s Global Alternative Investment Solutions group. Sitara is also a frequent guest on Bloomberg TV and other media outlets.
Prior to this role, Sitara led the Equity Specialist team in the J.P. Morgan U.S. Private Bank where she was responsible for providing investment advice for managed equity portfolios.
Sitara previously was on a Corporate Economics team supporting J.P. Morgan’s Chief Financial Officer where she led forecasting global macroeconomic, equity market, interest rate variables utilized in the firm’s financial and risk planning exercises. Additionally, Sitara managed a team focused on the curation of timely macroeconomic and market updates for members of the J.P. Morgan Operating Committee. At the beginning of her career, she previously supported J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management’s Chairman of Market & Investment Strategy, Michael Cembalest.
Sitara holds a BBA in Finance and a BA in Government from the College of William & Mary.
