About Jason
Jason Gordon is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a founding member of J.P. Morgan's Houston office, Jason serves the sophisticated advisory needs of high-net-worth families and their foundations, offering comprehensive investment strategies that provide value across the entirety of their balance sheet.
Exceptional service is a critical component of his philosophy, and he strives to go above and beyond, delivering a transparent and trustworthy experience. Jason takes a holistic approach and leverages the vast resources of J.P. Morgan to customize portfolios that help clients pursue their important goals. His background allows him to work seamlessly alongside other professional advisors to integrate legal, estate and tax planning considerations.
Jason has held a lifelong interest in financial services, born of his family's deep history in the industry—both his father and grandfather spent many years on the board of the Texas Commerce Bank. Jason's particular experience was honed as a financial consultant at KPMG and Arthur Anderson and later, as a Financial Advisor at UBS Financial Services and Merrill Lynch. He joined J.P. Morgan in 2018, drawn to the firm's stellar reputation as a global leader in financial services and its fortress balance sheet.
Jason is a graduate of Washington and Lee University, where he earned a B.A. in American History. He holds an M.S. in Accountancy from The George Washington University.
As a fourth generation Houstonian, Jason plays an active and influential role in his community. He serves on the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees for the Holocaust Museum of Houston, which uses the lessons of the Holocaust and other genocides to teach the dangers of hatred, prejudice and apathy. Additionally, Jason serves on the Board of Directors for re:Mind, an organization whose mission is to provide free and confidential support groups for individuals living with—and family and friends impacted by—depression and bipolar disorders.
Jason and his wife, Jennifer, live in Houston with their two children, William and Maribelle. When not supporting clients, he enjoys tennis, fishing and spending time with his family.
