About Jeff

Jeff Frankos is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. As a co-founder of The HFV Group, he leverages his capital markets background to provide executive service support for institutions, corporate executives and high-net-worth individuals.

Jeff works directly with limited and general partners of private equity firms to help manage the venture distributions of their concentrated stock positions. His targeted knowledge of restricted stock sales and options trading, employee stock purchase programs and 10b5-1 plans enables him to help clients diversify their holdings and make the most of their equity compensation opportunities. Following liquidity events, Jeff is skilled at developing sophisticated, tax-efficient planning strategies for holding and investing wealth. He helps ensure a seamless process to generate value for individuals and institutions.

With 16 years of industry experience, Jeff began his career with Charles Schwab, where he specialized in trading and trading operations. Eager to expand his capability set, he moved to Smith Barney to oversee its ESOP and ESPP desk. Subsequently, he worked for Thomas Weisel Partners, focused on high-net-worth client services. He joined J.P. Morgan in 2010, drawn to the firm’s institutional research team and global investment platform.

In his free time, Jeff enjoys quality activities with his wife, Emilie, and their two children. He bowls at a professional level, and has many titles and records to his name.
