Jeffrey Herman is a Managing Director on the Wealth Management team at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, offering guidance that is tailored to a client’s personal circumstances on a broad range of topics, including tax strategies, trust and estate planning, corporate executive services and concentrated stock and option positions, philanthropic giving, and educational and retirement planning.
In conjunction with various teams across the firm, Jeffrey considers both the tax and familial consequences of sophisticated wealth planning holistically and delivers insights and strategies to address client concerns. Financial Advisors employ his experience to ensure that clients’ investment and wealth management plans are structured to pursue their goals.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2015, Jeffrey was a Director on the Wealth Advisory team at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management. He began his career in 2007 as an associate attorney at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP in New York, where his practice focused on estate and tax planning and administration, philanthropic strategies, and matrimonial matters for ultra high-net-worth clients.
Jeffrey received his B.A. degree in Mathematics from Columbia University, graduating magna cum laude, and his J.D. from Columbia Law School. Jeffrey also received his LL.M. degree in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
