About Marissa

Marissa Cassidy is an Investment Associate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a member of The Amato-Waldbauer Group, her responsibilities include the preparation and presentation of wealth management plans and overseeing the team's 401(k) and other corporate plans. In addition, she handles client annuity contracts, mortgage applications and assists with the team's trading.

Marissa graduated magna cum laude from Montclair State University with a B.F.A. in Dance and a minor in Classics. She began her career in 2007 at UBS Financial Services Inc. and joined The Amato-Waldbauer Group in 2010. Marissa moved to J.P. Morgan in 2018 with the Group. She holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses and maintains her NY insurance license.

Marissa holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation, which empowers her to develop wealth management strategies that target short- and long-term goals. She is trained in personal financial planning, retirement planning, and estate planning strategies. She is completing her graduate studies toward the Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning program with the College for Financial Planning®—a Kaplan Company.

Marissa earned the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC) designation in 2013. This program enables experienced financial professionals, who are focused on retirement planning for individuals, to define a "road map to retirement." There is a focus on clients' pre- and post- retirement needs, as well as issues related to asset management and estate planning.

Marissa lives in New York City. She currently serves on the Finance Committee for her NYC Co-op board. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the city and all the culture it has to offer, as well as sharing her love of dance as a dance fitness instructor.
