About Dale

A. Dale Mitchell is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

With over 25 years of investment experience, Dale provides tailored asset management services for high- and ultra-high-net-worth families who seek a conservative approach to preserve and protect their capital.

Dale works closely with his clients, employing a disciplined discovery process to understand individualized needs and obtain a comprehensive view of the entirety of their financial situations. From these insights, he designs personalized investment portfolios that address targeted goals and objectives. Dale's risk-averse methodology is focused on fixed income vehicles and similar-quality equity strategies.

Deeply experienced in estate planning, Dale works closely with his clients' professional advisors, attorneys and CPAs to coordinate the continuance of their legacies through generational wealth planning, endowments and philanthropy. He is especially proud of the long-lasting relationships he has built with families through many generations.

Dale is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where he earned a B.A. in Finance. Introduced to the markets at a young age, he began his career in the mail room at a small investment firm and literally worked his way up the corporate ladder, first at Smith Barney, and later at Morgan Stanley. Dale joined J.P. Morgan in 2017 to provide his clients with the hands-on attention of a boutique firm coupled with the global strength of one of the most renowned financial institutions in the world.

Dale currently serves on the Estate Planning Council of the UT Southwest Medical Foundation. In his spare time, he attends sporting events and enjoys hunting and fishing. He also samples the myriad cuisines that abound in the Dallas area, and shares this experience with clients and friends.
