Connor Benson is an Investment Associate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a member of The Burns Troop Team at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Connor provides trading, settlement, and operations support for institutional and high net-worth clients. Connor’s responsibilities include trade execution, team operations, market research, and business development to reinforce the team’s daily functions and business model. He recognizes the importance of his role as a liaison between The Burns Troop Team clients and JP Morgan’s vast resources.
Connor graduated from the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston with honors, earning a degree in Finance and a certificate in Personal Financial Planning. Prior to joining the team, Connor obtained over 6 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career in 2015 at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management as a Client Associate. Connor then joined McGriff Insurance (F/K/A Regions Bank – Insurance) in 2016. While at McGriff, he held multiple roles including, Account Executive and Consultant where he delivered corporate benefits and risk management solutions to Regions and BB&T bank clients. In 2019, Connor joined BBVA USA as a Business Analyst in the Registered Investment Advisory, providing trading and operations support for portfolio advisory clients.
Connor currently resides in Dallas and enjoys Dallas/Houston sporting events, fitness, and playing basketball. He is involved with several local charities Texas Muscular Dystrophy Association and Habitat for Humanity.
He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
