Phyllis Tabachnick is a Managing Director, Wealth Partner and co-founder of The Tabachnick Oskin Group at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. She serves the investment management needs of individuals, families and business owners, maintaining a strong commitment to her clients and guiding them in making the tough decisions required to protect and grow their assets. By leveraging the resources of J.P. Morgan, Phyllis’s clients have access to the wide spectrum of the firm’s thought leadership, investment services and banking capabilities. Beyond these resources, the strength of The Tabachnick Oskin Group is the depth of the ongoing relationships the Group’s members have with their clients and their families.
Phyllis has been at J.P. Morgan and its predecessor firm for over 25 years. She came to Bear Stearns in 1989, transitioning to J.P. Morgan in 2008. A native of Akron, Ohio, Phyllis graduated from Northwestern University and currently lives on the North Side of Chicago. She believes passionately in giving back to the community, serving as a mentor to young people in their professional and civic endeavors. She has held leadership roles in multiple philanthropic organizations both locally and nationally, including:

Phyllis regularly speaks to students and boards of directors on fundraising and development, leadership, career advancement and investment management. In 2011, she spoke for JUF at a program entitled “Secrets of Remarkable Jewish Women.” Phyllis was honored by SHALVA as a recipient of its Giving Voice Award in 2011. Additionally, she received the Highest Leaf Award in 2008, given by the Women’s Venture Fund to accomplished women executives who are role models within their own professions and communities. In the spare time she manages to find, Phyllis enjoys reading, cooking and traveling.
