About Kelly

Kelly Epstein is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Advisor.

She serves and supports the investment management and financial planning needs of high-net-worth clients and multigenerational families.

Kelly structures portfolios based on a detailed analysis of her clients' risk guidelines, leveraging the resources of J.P. Morgan's open architecture platform to construct tailored portfolios designed to meet their specific goals. She selects investments from an array of exchange-traded funds, mutual funds, money managers, hedge funds and private equity firms, augmented by the firm's industry-leading thought leadership and investment services.

Kelly helps connect the elements of a client's financial picture. Her approach encompasses financial services, from banking products, such as checking account and credit cards, to mortgages, asset-based lending and lines of credit. As part of J.P. Morgan, she is able to deliver a high degree of financial connectivity. Kelly utilizes the vast resources of J.P. Morgan to provide clients with access to lending, cash management, retirement and charitable planning, helping them in each stage of their investing timelines. Kelly also works diligently with her clients' professional networks of CPAs and attorneys to provide sound strategic planning.

Kelly has more than 21 years of financial services experience. She began her career at American Express (1991–1994), and later moved to Morgan Stanley as a Wealth Advisor (1994–1998). She joined Bear Stearns, J.P. Morgan' predecessor firm, in 1998, and transitioned to her present role in 2008.

Kelly graduated from Bowling Green State University with a B.A. in Business and Spanish. Her professional activities include serving as an arbitrator for FINRA and as past President of the Chicago Corporate Responsibility Group and Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago. A native of South Bend, Indiana, Kelly and her husband, Jim, an appellate court judge, live in Wilmette, Illinois, with their two children, Sam and Annie, and have a vacation home in La Quinta, California. Besides staying busy with her children's hockey and soccer activities, Kelly is an avid golfer. She is a Director for Western Golf Association/Evans Scholars Foundation and is on the Women's Board of the Ravinia Festival. She also volunteers with Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre and the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund.
