About Chris

Chris Castellaw is an Executive Director and Wealth Partner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a founding member of the Kritzer-Castellaw Group, he delivers asset management and advisory guidance to help manage the holistic financial requirements of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their families.

With more than 20 years of industry experience through some of the most volatile markets in recent history, Chris has developed a disciplined process to evaluate risk parameters and position portfolios designed to withstand fluctuation. He is deeply involved in asset allocation, portfolio construction, strategic investing, and tax and estate planning. He also works directly with business owners and corporate executives to help diversify significant holdings and manage liquidity events. Chris serves as an advocate for his clients to place their best interests first at all times. An independent thinker, he delivers the insights and tailored service that generate confidence to stay the course.

Chris began his career at several law firms to develop a background in contract negotiations. He segued to financial services and worked for both Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (which sold to Credit Suisse) and Deutsche Bank Alex Brown. Chris was a Senior Vice President with UBS for 10 years, where he strengthened his wealth management capabilities. In 2019, Chris and his team joined J.P. Morgan to serve clients in a boutique setting backed by the global financial infrastructure of J.P. Morgan, one of the most highly capitalized banks in the world.

A native of Atlanta, Chris attended high school at the Lovett School, then at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts. He earned a B.A. in History with a minor in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Chris lives in Brookhaven with his wife and their three children. He plays a time-consuming, yet rewarding role in volunteerism, coaching his sons' and daughter's football and lacrosse teams. Previously, Chris was President of the Buckhead Lion's Club from 2017 to 2018. In his free time, he enjoys golf, travel and cooking for his family.
