About Andrew

Andrew Firstman is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

With 35-plus years of financial industry experience, Andrew has spent his career delivering clear, concise and cost-effective wealth management strategies. His focus is on assimilating economic data flow into building blocks to identify the macro themes that can drive asset valuation, then using these insights to put money to work in a very targeted fashion. He has found that although the markets can be unpredictable, sometimes the most simple strategy can be an optimal strategy.

Before joining J.P. Morgan in 2015, Andrew was at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette/Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC for nineteen years. He earned a B.A. with a concentration in Economics and an M.A. with a concentration in Economics and Policy from the University of Chicago, concurrently and in four years. Since 1994, he has authored a monthly financial markets commentary and investment strategy letter to deliver a level of communication and comprehension.

Andrew lives in Atlanta and is married with six children.
