About Brett

Brett Alison is a partner of The Alison | Jenkins | Podkulski Group and helps high-net-worth individuals, affluent families, corporate executives and university endowments pursue their financial goals. The client interview process starts with focused questions to help prioritize goals. Brett then performs sophisticated market research, disciplined technical analysis and due diligence to construct appropriate portfolio strategies.

Brett helps drive the team’s focus on applying fundamental investment principles to construct living plans that are consistently reassessed and restructured to help create a balance between performance, risk and volatility. As part of this approach, Brett additionally relies on the intellectual resources available to him through J.P. Morgan to deliver quality advice on a wide range of issues, including investment management, executive services and banking strategies.

Brett has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career as a Financial Advisor at Prudential Securities in 2000. In 2006, Brett partnered with his father, Tom, to form a team at Wachovia Securities. That same year, they moved to J.P. Morgan.

Brett graduated from the College of Charleston in 2000 with a B.S. in Business Administration. He currently serves on the board of the Charleston School of Business Club in Atlanta, and sits on the Membership Committee at the Buckhead Club in Atlanta. Brett, who was a collegiate swimmer and NCAA Scholar-Athlete, continues to be a passionate, competitive athlete—in his free time, he competes in triathlons and qualified for Team USA to compete in the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. He and his wife, Leslie, live in Atlanta.
