Tax Payment Services

Tax Payment Services (TPS) is a secure, simple, convenient application that allows taxpayers to initiate US federal government, state and local taxes via the web or a touch-tone telephone.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) encourages, and often requires, companies doing business in the United States to make tax payments electronically. TPS offers taxpayers access, via a web browser or a touch-tone telephone, to electronically transmit payments through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network for multiple tax types. TPS can accommodate single or multiple transactions per user session and provides password security, on-line, mail or facsimile payment confirmation and a complete audit trail. In addition, available monthly and quarterly reports provide summary information for all your tax payment transactions.

How you benefit?

  • Conforms to U.S. government mandate for electronic payment of taxes
  • Eliminates physical coupons, check-writing and in-person tax payments
  • System edits improve accuracy, confirm amounts and determine whether data is compliant with taxing authority requirements
  • Phone and web channels provide convenient, secure and efficient method for tax payment initiation
  • Prompt confirmation of all payments you initiate is provided to you by TPS in the form of a unique confirmation number
  • IRS federal payment acknowledgement
