Chase Direct Payment Card

With the Chase Direct Payment Card state and local government agencies can forego checks and vouchers for direct deposit to deliver benefits such as child support, unemployment insurance and home energy assistance.

Because the Chase Direct Payment Card carries the Visa® debit logo, benefit recipients can use it to access their funds at ATMs and make purchases at millions of retail locations retail worldwide.

Our Online account enrollment results in automatic card issuance and instantly opens an FDIC-insured bank account that can be used by the state, county or municipal government agency for ACH payments.

Additionally, can use "My Account" — a Web access service — to conveniently check their balance, view account activity, communicate with Customer Service and more.

Why use Chase Direct Payment Card?

  • Eliminate the costs of check issuance and processing
  • Streamline and simplify the overall payment issuance process
  • Standardize payment delivery using direct deposit
  • Deliver recurring payments from multiple agencies/programs to an individual's account
