How does HSA work?
When you incur a qualified medical expense, such as a doctor or hospital visit, you can pay
using the Chase HSA Debit Card or by using online bill pay via the secure HSA website.
If you don't use your HSA to pay for a qualified expense (i.e., you pay using another source),
simply reimburse yourself later. You won't need to submit any receipts for approval, but it's
important to maintain receipts for all expenses for tax and record keeping requirements.
If you don't have enough money in your HSA to cover a medical expense, you can make a partial
payment and pay the difference using another account or method.
You can also use the Medical Expense Tracker on the Chase HSA website to help manage your
expenses and to create reports on how you use your account.
