New York, NY, October 27, 2010 – J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services has earned seven Signature Awards from The Profit Sharing/401k Council of America (PSCA) for excellence in 401(k) plan communication and education. Categories in which awards were earned include Asset Allocation (The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company), Increasing Plan Participation and Savings Rates (Safeway and Taylor Corporation), Plan Conversion (Republic National Distributing Company and Hallmark Cards, Inc.), Plan Design Changes (Hospira, Inc.) and Retirement Readiness (Forest Laboratories, Inc.).
The firm has also been honored with nine awards from The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Southern Region, including two Silver Quill awards for The Way Forward, an online communication program that helps participants know what they can do to live comfortably through retirement.
“The programs honored in these awards strive to impact participant behavior, which is the foundation of our ‘Audience of One’ philosophy. We provide each individual with relevant and targeted information that helps them to make good decisions about their retirement plans, whether it’s to participate, increase their contributions, take full advantage of their plans’ matching contributions, or to diversify their investments appropriately. We look at communications and education as a way to help impact individual behaviors in a positive way,” said Gregory Walker, Head of Participant Communications & Education, J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services.
Audience of OneSM is J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services’ participant communication and education philosophy, based on a belief that effective communication programs must speak to
each participant as a unique individual. The ultimate goal is to help participants answer the question, “Am I on track to live comfortably through retirement?” The firm delivers successful communications programs for all plan sponsor events, starting with the implementation process.
