JPMC uses TLS, a standard encryption protocol, for its electronic communications and attachments, which can include your personal, confidential or other sensitive information (“Private Information”). It has come to our attention that your Company may not use TLS as a standard security profile for encrypting emails. Therefore, your Company may receive unsecured and unencrypted Private Information from JPMC unless your Company implements TLS, an industry best practice, to receive encrypted information. Accordingly, JPMC will not be responsible for any disclosure of Private Information or data breach, or related security incident, resulting from your Company’s inability to receive secure electronic communications through TLS.
