J.P. Morgan was the largest underwriter of green bonds in the first quarter of 2015, taking the lead position for the first time. The firm underwrote approximately $950 million of green notes during that time, surpassing all other banks.
According to Marilyn Ceci, head of Green Bonds at J.P. Morgan, the pipeline looks very strong over the next few quarters with particular strength in emerging markets and municipals.
