As part of the firm’s global commitment to help local communities address economic and social challenges, J.P. Morgan in Luxembourg has supported programs that encourage entrepreneurship and strengthen employability among young people and migrants facing integration challenges.
Through the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, the business in Luxembourg has announced a new charitable grant that will go to Business Initiative, a co-working space and business incubator where start-up enterprises can develop their business concepts. The organization provides entrepreneurs with the resources and support that they need to successfully create sustainable organizations, which make a positive impact on society.
J.P. Morgan’s support for Business Initiative will help pilot a training program to assist unemployed women aged 18-55, to obtain employment or create self-employment opportunities in Information Technology, a sector where women are currently underrepresented in Luxembourg.
