Employees in J.P. Morgan’s Shanghai office recently volunteered to help underprivileged youth develop their leadership skills through Right To Play, a global organization that uses the power of transformative play to educate and empower children.
Shanghai employees participated in the program’s China Leadership Development Camp, helping train students on how to job hunt, start a career and become leaders.. The sessions addressed making healthy choices, taking responsibility and protecting the environment.
Each student had the chance to lead during the various workshops, which were based on sporting games, and taught communication, teamwork, strategic thinking, goal setting, problem solving, decision making and ethics.
