Fortune has listed CEO Jamie Dimon #2 on its “Businessperson of the Year” list for 2017.
The results rank top-performing CEOs based on company profit, revenues and stock performance, as well as return on capital and debt. Fortune also included CEOs with a vision for impacting the world beyond their companies.
“As Dimon finishes his 12th year as CEO, his influence has never been greater,” Fortune wrote. “He has led the company to commit more than $200 million to investments in small business and vocational training in inner-city neighborhoods — reimagining philanthropy as an engine of economic growth.”
Dimon was also recently named the most authentic CEO in the Fortune 100 by Quantified Communications.
