Lori Beer named Global Chief Information Officer for the firm

JPMorgan Chase has named Lori Beer as its Global Chief Information Officer and a member of the firm’s Operating Committee, effective immediately.  

Beer has served as the Chief Information Officer for J.P. Morgan’s Corporate and Investment bank. As a new appointed member of the firmwide Operating Committee, Beer will become the fifth woman on J.P. Morgan’s committee of 10 executives.

“Lori is an outstanding executive with more than a decade of senior experience in finance, healthcare, retail, technology, and information management,” CEO Jamie Dimon wrote in an internal memo. “She joined JPMorgan Chase in 2014 following a 15-year career at Anthem Inc., where she was Executive Vice President of Specialty Businesses and Information Technology, a $10 billion business unit.”
