Mexico Opportunities Conference

Mexico City, Mexico

Mexico’s new reality has been unfolding since 2012 with the approval of historical structural reforms that completely changed the economic, political and social landscape in the country. 2016 marked another inflection point, with the anti-Mexican rhetoric of the Republican nominee during the US presidential campaign challenging years of integration between the two economies. While there is recognition in Washington and Mexico of the need to negotiate and work together as partners, investors have turned cautious on Mexico given volatile global framework and uncertainty regarding the outlook of the bilateral relationship. However, there are other challenges ahead for Mexico beyond the US, namely stemming from years of low economic growth and the implications that this will have on the country’s political processes in 2017 and 2018. The fragmentation within political parties has worked in favor of the more extreme left, putting Mexico on the verge of following the anti-establishment trend seen across LatAm and other countries in the developed world. We hope you can join us at our 2017 Mexico Opportunities Conference to discuss this, what we believe will become Mexico’s new reality.

Please remember that all J.P. Morgan conferences are by invitation only. Invitations are non-transferable.
