David Hudson

David Hudson — Managing Director, co-head of Digital & Platform Services, Corporate & Investment Bank

David Hudson is the co-head of Digital & Platform Services, a new organization comprised of the digital, technology, operations and data businesses in the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB). He is also a member of the CIB’s Management Committee.

In this role David and his co-head ensure that businesses and disciplines across the firm are aligned to deliver next-generation technologies and build the financial platform of the future. They are responsible for identifying, developing and delivering products, and services – inside and outside the bank – that will transform the way J.P. Morgan, and its clients, do business.

David has held a variety of positions at J.P. Morgan. Most recently, he was the global head of Markets Execution where he articulated the digital priorities of the Markets businesses and oversaw the development of products, electronic platforms, and potential partnerships to enhance the client experience. Before taking that role, David was the CFO of Global Markets where he was responsible for Finance and Business Management function as well as regulatory and industry relationships for the Markets business. Prior to J.P. Morgan, he worked in the Internet and telecommunications industry in London and South Africa, including a role in which he led technology development at the first multi-bank foreign exchange electronic trading platform

Samik Chandarana

Samik Chandarana — Managing Director and Head of Analytics and Data Science, Corporate & Investment Bank

Samik Chandarana is a Managing Director and Head of Analytics and Data Science for J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank. In this role, he leads the CIB’s Data Science team and is responsible for a cohesive data science strategy, coordinating and prioritizing the portfolio of projects, as well as developing a framework for the appropriate sourcing and usage of data across businesses. He also works closely with the firm’s technology teams and the Chief Data Office to identify and build specialized capabilities that require long-term investments, build and maintain appropriate data and research platforms, develop and grow suitable external partnerships, and ensure a resilient, well-controlled and scalable analytics and data science infrastructure.

Samik has more than 18 years of experience in Credit Markets where he was most recently the head of Global Credit Indices and Global Credit eTrading. He obtained a degree in Engineering and Management from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in England.

Josh Barraclough

Josh Barraclough — FinTech, Corporate & Investment Bank

Joshua Barraclough leads the InResidence program and is based in London. As part of this he is very active in the ongoing growth and development of companies that are engaged in the program or have graduated. Previously, he worked in Accenture’s Trading and Investment Strategy Group. He has also spent time developing a PE backed FinTech Company in London, which has over 1 million customers and founded his own FinTech venture. Joshua is a graduate of St. Andrews University.

Samir Shah

Samir Shah — Managing Director and Global Head of Digital Advisory, Corporate & Investment Bank

Samir Shah is the Global Head of CIB Digital Advisory and a member of the CIB’s senior leadership team for client-related innovation and FinTech activities. In his current role, Samir is responsible for delivering the firm’s emerging technology ideas and insights to clients. Samir joined J.P. Morgan in 2010 and has played a variety of Product Management and Sales Leadership roles across the bank. Samir received his MBA from the University of Chicago. Samir is an aspiring mixologist and a dedicated sports enthusiast.

Umar Farooq

Umar Farooq — Managing Director, Head of Digital Treasury Services and Head of Blockchain for the Corporate and Investment Bank

Umar Farooq is the Head of Digital Treasury Services and Head of Blockchain for the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB). Prior to his current role Umar was the Head of CIB Fintech and the CFO responsible for financial oversight and business management across Technology, Operations, and Controls. Previously he held leadership positions in Chase Bank including Head of Small Business Segment and National Sales Manager for Chase Business Banking. Umar joined JP Morgan Chase in 2009. Before joining JP Morgan Chase, he was the Chief Sales Officer for CIT Group where he led revenue growth across middle market and specialty lending businesses globally. Umar holds a B.S. in Computer Science, B.S. in Economics and M.Engg. in Computer Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Umar received his JD from Yale Law School.

Huw L. Richards

Huw L. Richards — Managing Director and Head of Digital Investment Banking

Huw Richards leads the Investment Banks’ transformation efforts across Client Coverage, Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets. The team aims to empower client decision making by deploying emerging technology to develop, analyze and execute clients’ strategic objectives.

Prior to Digital Investment Banking, Huw led the firms’ global Infrastructure Finance and Advisory and Investment Grade Finance teams. He has worked for JPMorgan in different capacities in EMEA and the Americas since 1999.

He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.Sc. (Honors) in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.

Jason Tiede

Jason Tiede — Managing Director and Head of Treasury Services Innovation

Based in New York, Jason is currently the Head of Innovation for J.P. Morgan’s Treasury Services business. Jason leads a global team of product strategists and FinTech experts who have a passion for solving emerging client challenges, experimenting with new technologies and testing future business models. The TS Innovation team leverages powerful assets within J.P. Morgan such as our In—Residence program and Blockchain Center-of-Excellence while engaging externally with clients and FinTech partners to accelerate the development of disruptive new products and services. Previously, Jason worked on BAML’s GTS leadership team in APAC as the as the Head of Global Cards and Emerging Payments for the region, then formed the US’ Innovation Team for GTS. Jason graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He and his teams have won multiple awards for innovation and thought leadership and Jason is a regular speaker at industry events.

Ana Capella

Ana Capella — Managing Director, Head of Strategic Investments

Ana Capella is the Head of Strategic Investments at J.P. Morgan. Ana and her team are responsible for globally supporting the firm’s businesses and corporate functions by making financially motivated investments that are strategic to the firm’s business activities. Ana joined J.P. Morgan in 1993 and has worked within the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), Corporate Strategy, Investor Relations, and Private Equity. She was the Head of Private Equity, prior to taking further responsibilities as Head of Strategic Investments in the fall of 2015. Ana received her M.B.A. from INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France) and holds a B.A. in Business Administration from CUNEF (Madrid, Spain).

Warren Rabin

Warren Rabin — Managing Director and Americas Head of Macro Sales and Distribution

Warren Rabin is a Managing Director and responsible for Sales and Marketing for Macro products including Rates, Foreign Exchange, Emerging Markets, Commodities, Fixed Income Financing, Listed Derivatives and Equity Derivatives. Warren’s team markets to investor clients including Investment Advisers, Central Banks, Hedge Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Banks, Insurance Companies, and Pension Funds. Warren is a member of the JPM Americas Sales & Marketing Management Team and the JPM Global Macro Trading Management Team. Prior to relocating to NY in 2003, Warren ran Foreign Exchange Sales & Trading for JP Morgan in Tokyo. Warren joined JP Morgan, London in 1990. Warren holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Biotechnology from King's College, University of London, and an MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business. Warren is married, has 2 daughters and enjoys cycling, running, and snow skiing and anything that takes him outside. Warren is a board member of Mosaic Smart Data, a London based FICC data analytics company on the In Residence platform.

    Yes, we partner globally. However our hubs are in New York, London, Herzliya and Hong Kong. The most important admission criteria is your idea, not your location, therefore relocation is not a requirement.

    Our vetting process may include an initial screening, phone calls, in-person follow-ups, product demos, and discussions with relevant business leaders, but varies considerably depending on individual circumstances.
