Jan 09, 2014
J.P. Morgan Securities was recognized by leading industry publication On Wall Street this week for three of its top advisors under the age of 40. The 2014 “Top 40 Financial Advisors Under 40” list named Stephen Barrett the number two advisor in the country. Carlos Ferrero Bonzon and his partner Mario Lamar were ranked 25th and 27th respectively.
The annual list ranks advisors who are 39 years old or younger as of December 31, 2013, and are ranked on trailing 12-month production and assets under management. Advisors are nominated by their individual firms to be considered for the ranking.
“We are thrilled for the recognition and proud to call Stephen, Carlos and Mario a part of our team of talented financial advisors,” said Greg Quental, Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan Securities. “As some of our top performers, these advisors exemplify the way we conduct business and serve our clients.”
Stephen Barrett, age 37, based in the firm’s New York City office was recognized among a select top ten group profiled in the magazine. Carlos Ferrero Bonzon, age 38, is located in South Florida and works with his business partner of 15 years, Mario Lamar, age 39, who works out of New York. The full ranking can be accessed here.
