J.P. Morgan is joining with countries and companies around the world in celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week, promoting the positive impact of entrepreneurship on economic growth and, as a result, reducing levels of poverty.
Global Entrepreneurship Week focuses on bringing attention to social enterprises that work to alleviate poverty. Events will take place from November 18 through November 24 on the local, national and global levels, and focus on connecting innovators with collaborators, and mentors and investors. Last year, over 100 countries participated in Global Entrepreneurship Week.
Whether working with community partners to create pathways to opportunity through affordable housing, economic growth, workforce readiness, and financial capabilities in places the firm does business, through the JPMorgan Chase Foundation and or through individual employee efforts with organizations like Bankers without Borders, both J.P. Morgan and its employees work towards a common end-goal of providing sustainable economic opportunity to those in need.
