Jan 23, 2013
The firm is recognized by LatinFinance magazine as “a key player” in Latin American capital markets in 2012
The firm’s Latin American franchise has been named Best M&A House, and Best Investment Bank for a second year in row, by leading financial sector publication in the region LatinFinance.
In addition to the Best IB and M&A House awards, several of the firm’s clients also received their own 2012 LatinFinance awards for transactions that J.P. Morgan helped them to execute. The transactions included: Best Trade Finance Deal, Best Syndicated Loan, Best Cross-Border M&A Deal, Best Corporate Liability Management, Best Quasi-Sovereign Bond, Best Corporate High-Grade Bond, and Best Initial Public Offering.
In M&A, J.P. Morgan’s pan-regional strength and international reach allowed it to capitalize on several of the region’s most high profile transactions in 2012. More than 70% of the region’s deals had a cross-border component last year.
