J.P. Morgan ranked top employer among financial institutions globally
Sep 24, 2012
For the third consecutive year, J.P. Morgan was ranked as the top employer among financial institutions globally, according to an annual survey of career seekers in business. The company also retained its place as eighth among overall business employers worldwide, and maintained a presence among the top 50 employers in engineering – an important source of technology talent for the firm.
“The World’s Most Attractive Employers” list is compiled annually by Universum, a global employer branding firm. “The index reveals the current level of attractiveness that companies have as employers – and therefore their potential to lead the world of tomorrow,” the company said in a release announcing the results.
The annual survey is the only global index of employer attractiveness, and highlights the world’s most powerful employer brands, which excel in talent attraction and retention. The index is based on the employer preferences of students from Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Russia, Spain, the U.K. and the U.S.
