Global Trade Team in Action
More than 60 members of J.P. Morgan's Global Trade team served lunch to seniors and helped young adults with their resumes and interview skills during a recent volunteer day with Henry Street Settlements, one of the oldest social services organizations in New York City. Henry Street, which serves 50,000 New Yorkers each year — more than 50% of whom speak a language other than English at home — provides day care, job training, senior services and a host of other life-enriching services. J.P. Morgan volunteers fanned across three locations in lower Manhattan to help local community members during the event. In addition to serving meals to seniors and conducting job skills workshops, volunteers also helped with day care and worked on arts and crafts projects with children.
