J.P. Morgan is pleased to host the eighth annual J.P. Morgan Brazil Opportunities Conference from December 1-3, 2015 in São Paulo.
The last few years have not been kind to Brazil: the end of the commodity super cycle and the global economic crisis led to the adoption of counter cyclical economic policies, limiting economic visibility. Despite the implementation of a new economic direction, the return to the growth path is proving more difficult than previously thought, as political and legal complications cloud the horizon. Our conference will discuss the cyclical and structural aspects of the Brazil downturn and the prospects ahead. Despite the recent malaise, Brazil is the seventh largest economy in the world, the second largest emerging market, the ninth largest domestic market, with a sophisticated business community and the fifth largest recipient of foreign direct investment. It still has one of the lowest investment rates among EM countries, and its poor infrastructure paves the way for much improvement.
To give perspective on those and many other issues, we will welcome over 800 delegates from LatAm, North America, Europe and Asia to our landmark event. As always, our Brazil Conference will be filled with engaging panel discussions and exclusive dialogue with government and business leaders and industry experts. We will cover the most topical issues, with unique analyses to guide your investment decisions.
Please remember that all J.P. Morgan conferences are by invitation only. Invitations are non-transferable.
The conference agenda will be available at a later time.
