Secure eMail

Secure eMail is offered as part of the J.P. Morgan ACCESS® portal through which you can access your applications with one User ID and password. This easy-to-use product is similar to a standard e-mail application, yet provides the security not offered via public Internet communication.

Because of its simplicity and security, Secure eMail is a tool for the communication of confidential and sensitive information between trusted parties. Note, this tool is not designed for the communication of value-bearing instructions.

Secure eMail Features
Combining a secure environment with familiar e-mail features and ease-of-use, the product enables you to send and receive sensitive and confidential information.

  • We provide each user with a unique ID and password to assure that only authorized users can gain access.
  • The messages and attachments are encrypted as they travel between you and J.P. Morgan staff thus providing confidentiality. All communication is via secure J.P. Morgan servers and not directly through the Internet.
  • You can file messages in personal folders, save messages and receive notification of receipt.
  • You can create your own personal address book from a master list of J.P. Morgan staff, which we provide as a standard offering of the product.

Secure eMail as an Alternative to Other Forms of Communication
Secure eMail is the tool to use whenever:

  • You need a low cost solution and instantaneous communication,
  • You plan to exchange sensitive and confidential information,
  • You require assurance of delivery and receipt,
  • You want to be confident that only trusted parties are communicating
